Inventory Specialist Jr.

The Junior Specialist, Inventory is responsible for supporting and maintaining global inventory operations by receiving, tracking, organizing, and distributing materials within the warehouse and ERP system. The role focuses on inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, customer support, and safe warehouse practices.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Material Management

• Process goods receipt postings in the ERP system
• Confirm deliveries from suppliers and global locations
• Track and resolve issues related to incoming inventory
• Distribute inventory parts to internal customers
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Participate in cycle counts and permanent inventory audits

Warehouse Operations

• Support loading and unloading activities
• Move and organize materials within warehouse/shop areas
• Assist with inventory storage and handling procedures

Systems & Reporting

• Use ERP systems (SAP, Navision, etc.) for inventory transactions
• Maintain documentation and inventory accuracy
• Provide status updates and communicate issues proactively

Preferred Qualifications

Education

• Vocational training, apprenticeship, or related warehouse operations education required

Experience

Preferred:

• 2+ years warehouse operations experience
• 2+ years inventory management experience
• Manufacturing/production process exposure
• International or multicultural work environment experience

Certifications (Preferred)

• Dangerous goods transportation certification
• Forklift certification
• Overhead crane certification
• Load securing methods training
