Inspector II

Volt is immediately hiring for Inspector II in Chatsworth, CA.

As an Inspector II, you will:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured and purchased components.
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and thread gauges.
• Conduct surface plate layouts and verify outside, in?process, and final inspections.
• Review engineering drawings, work instructions, purchase orders, and customer specifications.
• Complete quality documentation including First Article Inspection (AS9102), inspection logs, and non?conformance reports.
• Enter inspection and quality data into ERP systems accurately and timely.
• Inspect raw materials, work?in?process, and finished products prior to shipment.

This is a full?time, contract?to?hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3-5 years of hands?on experience in inspection or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of quality control methods and inspection techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment.
• Solid math skills, including trigonometry and GD&T fundamentals.

• Experience working with CMM equipment.
• Background in mentoring or supporting junior inspectors.
• Familiarity with ERP quality modules.

Schedule: 1st shift, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday-Friday)

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
