HVAC Service Technician - Residential - SIGNING BONUS

Residential HVAC Service Technician (1-3 Years Experience Required)

Bell Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician with proven hands-on experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance.

This position is ideal for technicians who have moved beyond the apprentice stage and can independently diagnose and service residential HVAC systems.

This is a residential service role only.

Applicants without residential HVAC service experience, diagnostic skills, or required tools will not be considered.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment cleanings
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate repairs
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and the dispatch team
• Complete service documentation and work orders accurately
• Participate in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and a professional appearance
• Attend ongoing technical training sessions

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of recent, hands-on residential HVAC service experience
• Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems independently
• Experience with residential equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers
• Must own and maintain the tools required for HVAC service work
• Trade school education alone does not qualify; field experience is required
• EPA Certification required or ability to obtain shortly after hire
• NATE Certification is a plus

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor conditions
