HVAC Service Technician

HVAC Energy Service Technician - Nampa, Idaho

These are the basic requirements of the position and must be performed competently.

A. Installs new HVAC units in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings.

B. Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system.

C. Performs routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure they operate properly.

D. Inspects and troubleshoots problems with existing HVAC units.

E. Installs replacement parts on existing HVAC units.

F. Maintains inventory of replacement parts and orders replacements.

G. Complies with company and industry safety standards.

H. Performs other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Vocational/technical school training or apprenticeship required.

• Apprentice or Journeyman HVAC license required.
