HVAC (Commercial) Project Manager

Evolve Mechanical Services is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager who will oversee a crew of men as well as the design, planning, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in new commercial construction and existing buildings, as well as a few residential projects from time to time.

Project manager would need to travel to different jobsites to supervise crew and manage projects.

Pay is based on experience.

Will receive a work truck after 90 days/ New Employee Orientation is completed.

Valid driver's license

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement large HVAC projects
• Direct and lead the work of mechanical staff
• Ensure project deadlines and cost targets are met
• Maintain required project documentation
• Take Offs, Submittals, Budget and Coordination Meetings - Both onsite and remote.
• Serve as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
• Conduct Daily/Weekly Safety and Site Meetings with staff
• Able to identify Change Orders and address accordingly
• Responsible for Job Costing
• Interpret HVAC drawings
• Coordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progress
• Schedule deliveries and inspections
• Expert level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations with tact, diplomacy, influence and sensitivity.

• Strong leadership qualities
• Pays attention to detail because they are totally accountable for quality installation of the project
• Punctual and willing to work with high level executive Contractors
