Hospitalist Physician

Location: Southwest Florida (Confidential Community Hospital)
Position Type: Full-Time 1099 or W-2

Covalent Medical Management is conducting a confidential search for Board Certified or Board Eligible Hospitalist Physicians for an exciting upcoming inpatient opportunity at a growing community hospital in Southwest Florida.

This is a strategic recruitment effort for a new hospital-based program currently under development. We are identifying qualified physicians interested in learning more as final operational details are completed.

• Community hospital with a collaborative physician leadership team
• Block scheduling anticipated (7-on/7-off expected)
• Day shift coverage initially, with future program expansion
• Modern inpatient practice utilizing Meditech EMR
• Opportunity to help build and shape a new Hospital Medicine program
• Strong administrative and clinical support
• Malpractice insurance and tail coverage provided

• Competitive compensation beginning at a minimum of $274,000 annually
• Current negotiations with the client are expected to increase compensation well above $300,000
• Flexible employment options:
  • 1099 Independent Contractor
  • W-2 Employment with Comprehensive Benefits
• Relocation assistance may be available

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
  • Internal Medicine (ABIM/AOBIM), or
  • Family Medicine (ABFM/ABOFM) with Hospitalist experience

• ACLS
• BLS
