Pharmacist Opportunity in a Rehab Hospital Setting - Boston Area

This contract position offers a rewarding role in a rehabilitation hospital environment located near Boston, MA. The assignment is set to begin as soon as possible and will last 13 weeks or longer, providing a solid opportunity for those seeking experience in a hospital pharmacy setting.

Location:

• Brockton, MA - near Boston

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in a rehab hospital setting
• Utilize Epic and Pyxis systems for medication management and patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care for patients
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Provide counseling to patients as needed for medication use

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts, including retail and new graduates encouraged to apply
• Experience or interest in hospital pharmacy preferred
• Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems is a strong advantage
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
