HEAVY TRUCK MECHANIC

Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining buses, trucks, and diesel engines. Perform regular inspections, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and conduct preventative maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Tasks involve working with brake systems, transmissions, exhaust systems, and other vehicle components. Used hand tools, power tools, and computerized diagnostic equipment. Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed.

Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical problems. Communicate findings and recommendations to supervisors and vehicle operators.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Stay updated on industry standards, new technologies and manufacturer guidelines.
