The Service Mechanic plays a critical role in Serving our customers on their jobsites. This position is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a wide variety of equipment in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work while having the ability to work by himself or as a Team.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery
Identify wear, damage, and potential failures to prevent breakdowns
Work on a wide variety of equipment including boom lifts, skid loaders, excavators, forklifts, tractors, telehandlers, cranes, loaders, dozers, scissor lifts, and air compressors
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems
Maintain accurate service records and communicate equipment status as needed
Keep work areas clean, organized, and aligned with safety standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service
Support shop operations and additional service needs as assigned

Education, Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
3+ years of equipment repair experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude will be considered)
Experience with heavy equipment, farm equipment, or similar machinery preferred
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical and air systems is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, squatting, etc.)
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn through hands-on training
Work Environment:
This position operates primarily in the field at the customers jobsites. The role requires physical activity including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, kneeling, and working around heavy equipment. Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying weather conditions may occur. A strong focus on safety, awareness, and teamwork is required.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6 AM- 5 PM (occasional overtime required)
