Heavy and Tractor Trailer Truck Driver

Job Requirements: Education: High School Diploma. Commercial Driver's License Required (CDL). Work will require travel throughout the U.S. Job Tasks: Operate heavy trucks and tractor-trailers to transport general freight to designated locations. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety, compliance, and proper functioning. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and cargo security. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, fuel usage, and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Follow federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety procedures. Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules, delays, or mechanical issues. Perform basic vehicle maintenance and report mechanical problems. Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods to customers.
