About the Role:

Develops, leads, and facilitates Health Advocacy & Fairness (HAF) educational endeavors across the LifeBridge Health system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and facilitating educational modules and learning experiences focused on equity, health equity, cultural humility, anti discrimination interventions, just culture, and related topics.
  • Establishing educational goals, training plans, and professional development opportunities for the HAF Councils and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
  • Supporting department-based equity training.
  • Developing and moderating monthly discussion series.
  • Leading the development of inclusive and culturally sensitive clinical and HR policies and practices.
  • Working with the HAF team and marketing to develop Monthly Message.
  • Creating and updating educational content and resources on internal website.
  • Planning and facilitating all HAF Office training sessions, retreats and summits. Working with HAF Council and ERG chairs/co-chairs to plan and facilitate entity educational sessions.
  • Developing presentations that increase knowledge and application of HAF principles among clinical, operational, and senior leadership audiences, under the guidance of HAF Manager and CHAO.
  • Supporting equity and health equity training for nurse residents, medical students, residents, and other clinical learners. Leading HAF research, QI projects and program evaluation to identify best practices and assess outcomes, including preparation of manuscripts, abstracts and presentations for internal and external dissemination.
  • Working with HAF interns to accomplish research goals. Evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs through participant feedback, outcome measures, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

Education: AA degree in Nursing preferred

Experience: 2 years of professional experience as an educator, speaker or moderator in health equity, health policy development, health education, or health disparities. Must also have at least 2 years in a clinical setting.

Pay Range: $26.08 to $39.12 Based On Experience
