Pay Range: $13.50hr - $18.50hr Job Overview: The Elevator Operator will safely perform critical facility operations in accordance with company policies, procedures, governmental regulations, and safety programs. The role involves loading and unloading trucks and railcars, performing grain-handling activities, monitoring equipment, supporting facility maintenance, and maintaining the general appearance of the facility. The candidate must be able to work effectively as part of a team, provide strong customer service, solve problems and make decisions as needed, and work in a physically demanding environment. Key Components of the role: Load and unload trucks and railcars. Perform grain-handling activities including filling/reclaiming ground piles, transferring, and blending. Operate safely according to company policies, procedures, governmental regulations, and safety programs. Monitor equipment to ensure it is operating properly. Participate in overall maintenance of the facility and equipment. Notify management of necessary repairs or potential equipment concerns. Maintain the general appearance of elevators, grounds, and buildings. Provide courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable customer service. Work as an involved and engaged member of the team. Problem solve and make decisions as needed. Qualifications: Must be able to complete a background check and drug test. Ability to work the required 12-hour shift schedule. Ability to work Monday through Sunday with one day off each week. Ability to monitor equipment and identify potential operational or maintenance concerns. Ability to problem solve and make decisions as needed. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong customer service and communication skills. Physical Requirements(Due to nature of job, The candidate must have): Ability to work outside in all types of weather. Ability to climb ladders and work from heights. Ability to perform work in a physically strenuous environment.
