Our client is seeking a Global Process Owner (GPO) for Record to Report (R2R). This senior level role owns the end to end R2R process across the enterprise and plays a critical part in ongoing financial transformation, close optimization, and ERP modernization initiatives.


The ideal candidate brings deep R2R expertise, strong leadership capability, and a proven track record driving enterprise wide standardization and automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise R2R Ownership - Lead and govern the full Record to Report process across a multi entity organization.
  • KPI & Performance Management - Develop KPIs, SLAs, dashboards, and performance reporting for R2R processes.
  • M&A Integration - Support Day 1 readiness, process alignment, and system/data integration for newly acquired entities.
  • Cross Functional Leadership - Partner with Finance, IT, Shared Services, and executive leadership to ensure end to end alignment.
  • Financial Close Optimization - Drive close cycle reduction initiatives, including automation, workflow redesign, and standardization.
  • Process Standardization - Harmonize GL processes, chart of accounts, reconciliation practices, and reporting frameworks across business units.
  • ERP Transformation Leadership - Serve as the R2R process lead for ERP modernization (Oracle required), including design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Controls & Governance - Establish and enforce reconciliation governance, financial controls, and compliance frameworks in a maturing control environment.
  • Automation & Continuous Improvement - Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual journal entries, streamline reconciliations, and improve close efficiency.

Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • Oracle ERP experience (required)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
  • 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting M&A integration and system harmonization.
  • Experience in Shared Services / Global Business Services environments.
  • Proven success leading enterprise level financial close transformation.
  • Process improvement certification (Lean, Six Sigma, PMP, or equivalent)
  • Deep expertise in R2R (close, GL, reconciliations, consolidation, reporting)

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience designing governance frameworks.
  • Healthcare industry experience (preferred but not required)
  • KPI/SLA development and performance management experience.
  • Prior Global Process Owner or enterprise process leadership experience.
