Our organization is currently collaborating with a healthcare facility in Georgia that is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage. There are recurring dates available, and we offer a competitive daily compensation along with hourly incentives. Job Details- Board Certification required
- Active Georgia medical license
- Responsibilities include:
- Emergency room call coverage
- Consultations
- Surgical follow-ups
- Clinic duties
- Full-time position starting January 2026: Monday to Friday for office and surgical duties, weekend call, 7 days on and 7 days off, with shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM
- Proficiency in upper and lower scopes is necessary
- ACLS certification required
- Experience with EMR systems, specifically Meditech
- Support staff includes: Registered Nurses and Emergency Room team
