Gastroenterology Physician

Schedule Details

Coverage Needed:
• 2 locations (BRMC) each week
• 1 Physician requested working 1:1 with an APP
• All shifts are 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
• Monday 7:00 AM EST Monday 7:00 AM EST coverage blocks
• Provider onsite approximately 8 10 hours per day
• Monday Friday onsite schedule with weekend call coverage
• Night call includes beeper coverage and 24-hour weekend call
• Rarely called back onsite after hours; majority of after-hours responsibilities are phone consults

Coverage dates are available from September 2026 to November 2027 and will be shared upon request.

Pay on 1099:

Daily Pay: $4800 (to include 8 hrs clinical coverage and night call)
Call Back : $480/hr

Work Details:
• Support Staff: Supporting OR and in-house Endo nurses; physician works alongside APP
• Department Description: Endo Suite (BRMC) or Main OR/Endo Suite (HVMC)
• Patient Volume: Average surgical volume per 24-hour call is 7 8 procedures; consult volume varies
• Hospital Bed Size: BRMC 348 beds HVMC 345 beds
• Patient Population/Age: Adults with occasional patients younger than 18
• EMR: EPIC
• EMR Experience Required/Preferred: Preferred
• Special Procedures: Must be well experienced in all General GI and ERCP cases/procedures
• Special Equipment: Olympus equipment (additional details available upon request)
Flexibility around EUS scheduling and procedures available

• Hospital
• Endoscopy Suite
• Main OR

Requirements:

• Updated CV - ( Mention gaps above 30 days)
• NPDB Self query - Current Month Copy - The NPDB - Home Page
• Board Certification: Board Certified GI required
• License Required: TN License or IMLC Required before confirming dates
• DEA: yes
• Minimum Experience: Well Experienced in all General GI and ERCP Cases and Procedures
• Specific Skills Required: ERCP Required
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days with clean backgrounds, no MP, active licenses
• Certification Requirements : ACLS,BLS,DEA,CSR
