Gastroenterology Physician Assistant

A growing gastroenterology clinic in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or other medical specialties to join a high-performing outpatient practice focused on complex patient care.


Position Highlights:

• Outpatient-only gastroenterology clinic role
• Manage a dedicated liver disease patient panel in collaboration with physicians
• Full-time schedule with approximately 32 hours of direct patient care weekly
• Join a collaborative team of 7 physicians and 8 advanced practice providers
• Focus on medically complex GI patients in a high-volume specialty setting
• Embedded specialty pharmacy support for prior authorizations, infusions, and patient assistance programs
• Strong multidisciplinary support including radiology, surgery, and medical subspecialties
• Emphasis on quality, safety, teamwork, and patient satisfaction
• Opportunity to grow within a rapidly expanding gastroenterology service line

Qualification:

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
• Experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or medical specialty care preferred
• Ability to manage medically complex outpatient populations
• Strong clinical judgment and collaborative practice style
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care
