Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Marshall Movement, your day-to-day duties will include:
  • Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and rehabilitation needs.
  • Developing individualized rehabilitation plans tailored to each patient's specific goals and conditions.
  • Implementing hands-on therapy techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
  • Educating patients and their families on techniques for managing their conditions and maintaining progress outside of therapy sessions.
  • Collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Documenting all patient interactions and treatments in our electronic medical records (EMR) to maintain accurate and timely records.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with patients of all ages, tailoring treatment plans to their specific needs to enhance their mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. Your role will be pivotal in empowering patients to regain independence through rehabilitation.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold an active Physical Therapy license in Michigan. A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required, while holders of a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy are preferred. Strong clinical judgment and communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

We encourage applications from candidates with at least two years of experience in outpatient physical therapy. Experience in manual therapy techniques is an advantage but not required. Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
