Duties Safely operate a variety of forklifts including reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and manual counts to ensure accurate stock levels. Pick and pack orders efficiently using order picker equipment while verifying items against shipping labels and order sheets. Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper stacking and secure placement of goods on pallets or racks. Follow warehouse safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and operation of material handling equipment to prevent accidents. Assist with shipping & receiving processes by documenting inbound and outbound shipments accurately and maintaining detailed logs. Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining a clean work environment. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow, improve safety procedures, and implement best practices in warehouse operations. Experience Proven experience operating forklift equipment such as reach trucks, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar material handling machinery. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory management techniques. Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures including load & unload operations and documentation requirements. Understanding of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and general warehouse safety standards in production environments. Previous experience in warehouse distribution or logistics environments is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts, measurements, and weight assessments.
