Axios Professional Recruitment is proud to partner with a well- established recycling company in Grand Rapids that is actively seeking a Forklift Operator. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, process driven, and passionate about experienced in production operations.
Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and diverse forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials and equipment.
• Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on assigned forklifts.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and containers.
• High exposure to the elements outdoors due to the nature of the facility.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize material handling and distribution processes.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts
• Forklift operator certification or the ability to obtain one
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
