Job Summary


Rhodes Transport is an intrastate heavy equipment and materials hauling company founded in 2009 by Mike Rhodes Sr and Mike Rhodes Jr, a father and son team dedicated to providing efficient, safe and competitive transport service. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator/Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and commercial trucks to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision at every stage. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results on time while maintaining a safe work environment.


  • 3 years minimum of CDL Holder
  • Must have Vaild medical card
  • We are seeking 3-4 semi drivers/ 51' ft landoll trls
  • We are seeking 1-RGN(Lowboy) driver - 53' ft 3 axle hydraulic detach lowboy trl
  • Some heavy equipment experience is a plus
  • Paid equipment hauling is provided, here ay Rhodes Transport



Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, forklifts, aerials, graders, water trucks and machines with precision and safety on to trailers.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on your assigned semi and trailer
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery on construction sites to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Coordinate with team members to plan daily tasks and ensure timely completion of dispatch runs.
  • Maintain detailed paperwork for dispatched runs



Experience

  • Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, forklifts and aerials.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record for truck operation.
  • Some basic mechanical knowledge of Semi Trucks and Trailer maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of safety standards specific to heavy equipment operation and construction environments.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
