Lay out, fit, and assemble steel stair and railing members
Read and interpret shop drawings accurately
Proficient SMAW welding as needed to support fabrication
Use tape measures, squares, levels, and layout tools with consistent accuracy
Safely operate power tools and fabrication equipment
Perform torch cutting and grinding with accuracy and consistency
Rig and move materials using overhead cranes and/or forklifts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work with a strong sense of urgency while maintaining safety and quality standards
Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and team members
Show up prepared, on time, and ready to work each day
Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and respect

Experience: 3+ years of misc metals fitting or fabrication experience preferred
Technical Skills: Strong layout and fit-up ability, SMAW welding, torch cutting, and grinding
Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and sections independently
Equipment: Use of Millermatic 212 welding machines. Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts preferred
Math Skills: Ability to work with fractions and measurements to 1/16" accuracy
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced shop environment
Dependable, punctual, and accountable for personal performance
Positive attitude, coachable mindset, and team-oriented
