A leading manufacturer of advanced industrial digital printing technology is expanding its field service organization and looking for experienced Field Service Technicians / Engineers to install, service, and support its high-speed production equipment.
This is an opportunity to work with industrial digital printing technologylarge, highly automated production systems combining sophisticated electrical, mechanical, electronics, controls, inkjet, and software technology.

The Field Service Technician will travel to customer manufacturing facilities throughout North America to install, commission, and upgrade, digital printing systems.
This is much more technical than traditional copier or office-equipment service. These are large industrial production machines operating in demanding manufacturing environments.

This is a high-travel field service position and is best suited for someone who enjoys being on the road.
Technicians should expect approximately three weeks per month traveling, followed by approximately one week off.
Assignments can include installations, upgrades, reconfigurations, and technical service throughout North America. Installation projects may last several days to several weeks, and larger projects can involve teams of multiple Field Service Engineers.

Previous experience is not required. The company provides extensive training on its equipment and technology.

Previous Field Service experience is strongly preferred, particularly if you've worked independently at customer locations.
This can be an especially attractive opportunity for a Field Service Technician who has reached the limit of what they can learn on their current equipment.
The company will provide the training necessary to move into large-format industrial digital printing technology. What matters most is having strong electro-mechanical fundamentals, troubleshooting ability, customer skills, and the willingness to travel.
You should be comfortable walking into a customer facility, diagnosing a problem, working through it methodically, and knowing when to involve additional technical resources.
This isn't just another break/fix service position.
You'll have the opportunity to become a specialist on high-value, sophisticated industrial equipment while developing skills in digital printing, controls, automation, electronics, software, and industrial systems.
