Our Portland-area field service team supports customer fabs in Hillsboro and Beaverton, and we're adding an entry-level Field Service Engineer. Why join us? 28-43/hr plus equity, depending on education and experience New grads welcome - we provide semiconductor process training and a structured technical certification path Hands-on work on advanced optics, electronics and electro-mechanical equipment Clear growth path into senior field service and technical support roles Portland, OR area - local customer sites in Hillsboro and Beaverton Job Details What you'll do: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues on site, by phone or remotely, working with factory engineering teams Repair and modify systems at customer fabs - board-level and system-level Perform preventive maintenance and assist with tool installations, startups and relocations Help keep customer production running, including flagging unsafe conditions Write field service reports and document recurring issues Use test equipment such as DVMs, oscilloscopes and flow meters Complete ongoing technical training and certification Spend at least 50% of your time at customer sites and in cleanroom environments What you need: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering (new grad), or a Master's with 0 years of experience; an associate's degree or military technical training with relevant experience is also considered Aptitude for troubleshooting electronics, optics, mechanical and electro-mechanical systems Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems and networking Comfortable working in a cleanroom and under pressure during equipment-down situations Strong communication skills Local to or willing to relocate to the Portland, OR area Interested in hearing more?
