Field Safety Specialist

This is a full-time, 1-year+ opportunity. Potential for extended and long term work with us based on performance.

Job Summary
Safety Professional with construction OSHA 1926 experience. We are seeking a safety professional for our client's job-site.

Responsibilities

• Boots on the ground safety professional. You will be identifying hazards in the field and correcting unsafe behavior observed while maintaining a strong field presence.
• Monitor safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA, steel company client and general contractor standards and regulations and company policies.
• Allocate PPE to workers
• Observe and report to client safety personnel
• Attend and contribute to daily foreman tailgate meetings

Experience

• BCSP certificate (desired)
• OSHA 30 (required)
• OSHA 510/500 (desired)
• Subpart R steel erection and/or O&G experience (highly preferred)
• Microsoft Office
• CPR/1st Aid

APPROX. DURATION: 12 months+

LOCATION: San Francisco, CA (UCSF campus)
