Additional Information

We are a well-regarded outpatient primary care facility in Georgia, currently in search of a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician for a long-term locum tenens position. The selected candidate will commence coverage at one outpatient clinic in August and will transition to a second clinic location in September. This role is entirely outpatient, with no on-call duties, admissions, inpatient responsibilities, or hospital privileges required.

Position Highlights


  • Focus exclusively on outpatient Family Medicine
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • No on-call duties
  • No inpatient responsibilities
  • No hospital privileges necessary
  • Utilize Epic EMR
  • Collaborative clinical team, including RN, MA, NP/PA, and administrative staff
  • Long-term assignment extending through the end of the year
  • Opportunity to engage with an established patient base
Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive outpatient primary care services
  • Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Conduct preventive care and wellness examinations
  • Care for patients across all age groups, including:
    • Newborns
    • Infants
    • Children
    • Adolescents
    • Adults
    • Geriatric patients
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR
  • Work collaboratively with clinic personnel to maintain high-quality patient care
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
  • Active medical license in Georgia is required
  • Current BLS certification
  • Comfortable treating patients of all ages
  • Experience with Epic EMR is preferred

  • 1 Registered Nurse
  • 2 Medical Assistants
  • 1 Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
  • 3 Administrative Staff members
