Job DescriptionJob DescriptionFacilities Project Manager job in San Diego, CA LHH has partnered with a non-profit organization who is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to assist their team! Position Overview: The Facilities Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing 30+ facilitates throughout San Diego. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, construction management, project planning, and execution. They will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee construction projects related to our facilities, including facility-related repairs and maintenance
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams
  • Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other vendors to ensure that project objectives are met
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion within established parameters
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions as needed
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other applicable standards throughout the construction process
  • Communicate project status updates, risks, and milestones to internal stakeholders and leadership team
  • Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment
  • Oversee procurement processes, including obtaining bids, negotiating contracts, and managing vendor relationships
  • Manage change orders, scope changes, and other project modifications while minimizing impact on project timelines and budgets
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, permits, and records, in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience managing construction projects and conducting site inspections, preferably in a non-profit
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills, project management software and tools such as Outlook, Excel, Visio, Access or similar applications
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build positive relationships
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement effective strategies
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to construction, safety, and accessibility
Additional details:
  • Salary: Between $70,000-$80,000 and based on experience
  • Schedule is Monday-Friday
  • Main office is located in San Diego, CA
  • Contract to possible hire based on budget, business need and job performance
