Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Welder/Fabricator/Fitter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and fitting metal components with precision and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful assembly of structural and mechanical systems used in steel making, mining and industrial applications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of materials and techniques, supporting large-scale projects from start to finish while adhering to quality standards.

Duties

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication and assembly processes
• Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding with accuracy and consistency
• Use hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, and other fabrication equipment.
• Measure materials precisely using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure proper fitment
• Fabricate structural elements, conduct rigging, assembly, and testing according to project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols related to welding, machining, rigging in a manufacturing environment.

Experience

• Proven experience working with metal fabrication and assembly in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW and plasma cutting
• Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings for fabrication projects
• Experience operating power tools such as grinders, mag drills, and industrial saws.
• Knowledge of rigging practices including crane operation basics for lifting heavy components safely
• Mechanical aptitude for assembly & basic math skills for measurements.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in manufacturing while maintaining high safety standards

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
