Experienced HVAC Service Technician / Installation Manager

UBH Heating & Cooling is growing and looking for an experienced HVAC professional to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician who is ready to take on a leadership role in managing installation crews while continuing to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service, troubleshooting, and installation. The ideal candidate will be capable of leading and managing installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining job schedules, and delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-split systems, and related equipment
• Manage and Oversee installation crews on job sites
• Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed projects
• Train and mentor junior technicians and installers
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system operation and recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation
• Coordinate with office staff to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Experience leading installation teams
• EPA Certification required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to read blueprints and installation specifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
