Experienced Commercial Estimator

RAM Construction is a growing commercial general contractor specializing in renovations, restoration, and commercial construction projects. We are looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Xactimate to join our team. If you enjoy analyzing plans, building accurate estimates, and helping win profitable projects, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial construction and restoration projects.
• Create detailed estimates using Xactimate.
• Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, vendors, and clients throughout the bidding process.
• Maintain organized estimate files and documentation.
• Meet bid deadlines while managing multiple estimates.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial estimating experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Xactimate.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).

Preferred:

• Experience estimating commercial renovations, insurance restoration, or multifamily projects.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods and building codes.
