Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Sous Chef to lead and oversee our culinary and hospitality operations. This role is pivotal in managing food service activities, supervising teams, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for fine dining, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in food production, costing, and restaurant management. As a Lead Sous, you will drive operational excellence, maintain high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a positive environment for staff and guests alike.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise culinary team, broiler experience and bilingual
  • Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure consistency with quality standards and customer expectations
  • Manage inventory control, food safety sanitizing procedures, and cost control measures to optimize resources and minimize waste
  • Plan menus in collaboration with Executive Chef and enhance guest satisfaction
  • Coordinate shift management, staff scheduling, and training programs to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards while implementing best practices in food handling and kitchen management
  • Oversee catering events, banquet functions, and fine dining experiences to deliver memorable guest experiences while managing budgets effectively

Skills

  • Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in fine dining and Steakhouses
  • Proven supervising experience within the food industry or hospitality sector
  • Deep knowledge of dietary department procedures, food safety sanitizing protocols, and kitchen management practices
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams as a chef or culinary manager effectively
  • Expertise in food production, menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with staff, vendors, and clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on experience in food service management, including shift management, restaurant operations, and hospitality services
  • Familiarity with fine dining standards, catering logistics and restaurant experience
