We are currently seeking an Executive Director of Quality & Clinical Outcomes to join our leadership team. In this role, you will provide strategic oversight and direction for Quality, Infection Prevention & Control, Regulatory Compliance, and Case Management programs across the organization. You will play a critical role in advancing patient safety, performance improvement, and regulatory excellence while collaborating closely with executive leadership, medical staff, and the governing board.
The Executive Director leads the organization's Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program and ensures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards. This role is responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operational leadership, including staffing, departmental performance, and cross-functional collaboration.
This position reports to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and is classified as salaried, exempt.
Key Responsibilities:Provide strategic leadership for quality, patient safety, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance programs
Lead and oversee the QAPI program to drive continuous performance improvement
Collaborate with executive leadership, medical staff, and departments to achieve organizational goals
Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and patient safety standards
Oversee departmental operations including staffing, budgeting, and performance management
Analyze data and implement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency
Serve as a resource on healthcare regulations, policies, and best practices
Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Education:
Registered Nurse (RN) required
Master's degree in Nursing or a comparable field required
Experience:
3-5 years of hospital leadership experience required
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to manage multifaceted projects while balancing daily operational responsibilities
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills with sound judgment
Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and take initiative
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to demonstrate tact, diplomacy, and professionalism in all interactions
Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of team development and facilitation techniques to support high-performing teams
Licensure, Registration, or Certification:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
