Escrow Funder
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Location: Camp Bowie Onsite
• $50,000 - $65,000 annual salary BOA
• Full-time Direct Hire
ROLE IMPACT
This role is responsible for reviewing, balancing, and funding closed real estate transactions, ensuring all financial components are accurate and compliant with company policies and state regulations. The Escrow Funder plays a critical role in verifying documentation, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds.
This position is essential to maintaining accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review closed escrow files to ensure all funds have been collected and posted
• Verify incoming and outgoing wire instructions for accuracy
• Analyze files for discrepancies and resolve issues prior to disbursement
• Disburse funds in accordance with closing instructions and company policies
• Ensure all required documents are received, complete, and properly filed
• Review invoices to confirm correct payees, amounts, and approvals
• Coordinate with lenders and internal teams to obtain funding authorization
• Communicate with all parties regarding funding status and disbursement timelines
• Prepare lender closing packages in accordance with instructions
• Submit documents for recording and ensure post-closing accuracy
• Maintain organized, audit-ready files and documentation
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-3+ years of title, escrow, mortgage, or banking experience required
• Experience with funding, disbursement, or closing processes preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy (critical)
• Ability to manage multiple files in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication and demeanor
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• Title and escrow software (RamQuest, ResWare, SoftPro, or similar)
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Document management systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience balancing Closing Disclosures (CD) or ALTA statements
• Knowledge of funding and disbursement processes
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies quickly
• Strong multitasking skills in deadline-driven environments
• Experience working in a title company setting
