Shift Timing: 5 days a week for 8 hours each day/ 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Position Overview:- Minimum three (3) years of documented experience in the applicable trade.
- Resume demonstrating relevant work experience.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training certification.
- Any applicable trade licenses or certifications (where applicable).
- Candidate information must include any conflicts during the period of performance (planned leave, military leave, extended vacation, etc.).
- Copies of all applicable licenses, certifications, OSHA certificates, diplomas, or training records.
- Candidates must be physically capable of performing heavy work, ladder work, confined space work, respirator use, and other physical requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.
Roles and Responsibilities: Electrician:- Install new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and associated fixtures, controls, and equipment.
- Install secondary power distribution lines and circuits used to supply a wide range of voltage
- Provide maintenance to industrial multiphase systems; thermocouple sensors; electrical intrusion alarm and fire alarm system; emergency warning systems; lighting protection systems.
- Traces hard-to-locate defects or problems associated with the completion of repairs and installations.
- Determine where to place distribution panels, boxes, fittings, connections and install wiring.
- Calculate resistance, inductance, capacitance, power factor, current flow, and temperature, and length in single and multiple raceways, conduits, and cable trays.
- Operate basic test equipment such as signal generators, signal tracers, and oscilloscopes.
- Use specialized measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, watt meters ohmmeters and meggers.
- Able to recognize electronic parts such as resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
- Use trade formulas to calculate common properties, e.g., voltage, voltage drop and current capability in series and parallel circuits
AC Mechanic Operator:- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as changing filters, cleaning coils, and checking system performance.
- Inspect HVAC systems for wear and tear and efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in HVAC systems. Replace faulty components like motors, compressors, and thermostats.
- Monitor and adjust central air conditioning systems to ensure optimal environmental control for patient care areas. Maintain indoor air quality by ensuring proper ventilation and humidity control.
- Work closely with other maintenance staff and hospital departments to ensure seamless operation of HVAC systems.
VA Hours of Work:- Contractors are required to be present 5 days a week for 8 hours each day for a total of 40 hours per week from 8:00 AM to 430 PM.
- Contractors will be paid on an hourly rate.
