Integrative Emergency Services (IES) is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Site Medical Director. This position would oversee Emergency Department operations at HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital Emergency Department in Lehigh Acres, FL. Role includes monthly stipend.
SITE MEDICAL DIRECTOR ROLE:
Provide on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects for the Emergency Department
Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings, and review of medical records
Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high-quality care
Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing
Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians
Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BC in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
Active Florida medical license and DEA
24 hours Stroke CME annually
ACLS, PALS
Previous experience as a medical director or assistant medical director preferred, but not required
