Emergency Department Technician, Full Time, Nights

Facilitates the provision of timely and effective patient care under the supervision of licensed members of the health team. Helps maintain a safe and clean environment in order to enhance department operations and patient satisfaction. Patient care is delivered consistent with the model and philosophy of relationship-based care; putting the patient first.

• Medical terminology
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Computer skills
• Knowledge of Infection control and aseptic technique

Required:

• BLS from American Heart Association
• LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment
• Non-violent Crisis Intervention (VIP) within 3 months of employment
• Prior hospital experience as ER Tech or Recent EMT experience.
