Electrician Journeyman

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality electrical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, schematics, and blueprints.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
• Work with low voltage and high voltage systems, ensuring proper installation and safety compliance according to NEC standards.
• Utilize testing equipment such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues effectively.
• Collaborate with construction teams on various projects.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols related to electrical work on construction sites or industrial facilities.
• Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced electricians when required
• Qualifications
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license
• Proven experience as a residential electrician or commercial electrician with a strong background in construction site environments.
• Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, NEC regulations, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, power drills, saws, and framing carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, including NEC guidelines for residential, commercial and industrial settings.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance.
