Responsibilities:
- Material & Tool Support: Supply, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment to job sites using hand trucks or motorized vehicles.
- Installation Assistance: Measure, cut, bend, and thread wire and conduit; install fixtures, outlets, switches, junction boxes, and electrical panels.
- Wiring & Testing: Pull and route wires through conduits or ducts; trace short circuits using test meters; assist in testing electrical systems for proper function.
- Maintenance & Repair: Clean work areas, maintain tools and equipment, replace fuses, switches, and light sockets; disassemble and reassemble defective electrical components.
- Site Preparation: Dig trenches, break up concrete or asphalt, clear debris, and position scaffolds or hoists for safe access.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow safety regulations, National Electric Code (NEC) standards, and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- High School or Trade School
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
- Professional appearance and courteous personality
