Hiring Basis: 6-month contract to perm or direct hire
Hours: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday
Pay: $25-$30/hourly/W2 (May be willing to go up in pay depending on experience)

THE OPPORTUNITY

Lotus Technical has a 6-month contract to permanent or direct hire role for an Electrical Technician-Electrician located in Champlin, MN for a manufacturing company. This role involves wiring generators, connecting electrical panels, routing conduit, and assisting with the assembly and integration of backup power equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience reading schematics and blueprints, working with both high- and low-voltage systems, and performing clean, organized electrical work in a manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Wire generators, transformers, and electrical control panels.
Install and route conduit, cables, and wiring harnesses.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Connect and terminate electrical components and panels.
Perform electrical assembly and integration of power systems.
Inspect wiring and completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.
Troubleshoot and resolve minor electrical or assembly issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Follow all company safety standards and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in electrical assembly, electrical technician, or electrician roles.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Experience with high- and low-voltage wiring.
Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be US Citizen, or green card holder.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience wiring generators, switchgear, or industrial equipment.
Background in power systems, control panels, or backup power equipment.
Conduit bending and installation experience.
Manufacturing or industrial electrical experience.
