Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer-D.C.

We have partnered with a large engineering services company in the Metro DC area to provide them with a Senior Electrical Engineer.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Electrical Engineer:
. BS in Electrical Engineering
. Active Electrical PE
. years consulting engineering experience
. Power systems design for commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher education, or federal facilities
. SKM, ETAP, or similar electrical modeling software

Responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
Applicants must be well versed in all aspects of electrical systems design and specification. The desired individual should be comfortable consulting to architects, owners, and general contractors, and have a desire to work as part of a multidiscipline engineering team.

Requirements of the Senior Electrical Engineer:
Bachelors Degree (B.S) in Electrical engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering (required)
10 to 15 years of experience.
Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Project Management experience and/or certifications.
Desire to lead inter-disciplinary projects and project teams.
Local AHJ experience and relationships is a plus.
Active local industry involvement is a plus.

Other Key Requirements:
Must be able to work in the office four (4) days a week
Willingness to travel for occasional site visits
No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
