Position Summary

Mural Group is partnering with a leading specialty metals manufacturer known for producing high-performance stainless and alloy products for critical industrial applications to hire an EHS Specialist. This role will support and enhance environmental, health, and safety programs within a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, leading safety initiatives, and helping build a culture where safety is embedded into daily operations. This is a highly visible role that works cross-functionally with operations and leadership to proactively identify risks, drive accountability, and continuously improve workplace safety performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety programs in alignment with regulatory standards
  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the facility
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
  • Track and report key EHS metrics and ensure accurate documentation of all safety activities
  • Deliver safety training programs and ensure employee compliance with safety procedures
  • Maintain OSHA compliance, including recordkeeping and reporting requirements
  • Support environmental compliance efforts, including waste management and sustainability initiatives
  • Partner with operations and maintenance teams to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents and improve safety performance
  • Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols across all departments


Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits
  • Excellent communication and training facilitation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Ability to influence and engage employees at all levels


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety or related field
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing or production environments
  • Knowledge of environmental compliance standards (EPA, waste management, etc.)
  • EHS-related certifications (e.g., OSHA, ASP, CSP)
