EHS Coordinator

Our client, a leading organization in the metal finishing industry, is seeking a dedicated EHS Coordinator to join their team. As an EHS Coordinator, you will be part of the Environmental, Health, and Safety department supporting operational excellence and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: EHS Coordinator

Location: Garden Grove, CA

Pay Range: $18-$22/hr

Shift: 7 am - 330 pm

What's the Job?

• Assist in identifying applicable environmental regulations and risks within the metal finishing industry.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Quality Assurance, and the EHS team to implement compliance systems.
• Maintain and update the MSDS library with current chemical information.
• Support record keeping and scheduling for environmental reports such as Clean Air Act, RCRA, and DOT.
• Conduct compliance audits and handle hazardous waste/materials responsibly.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Science or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of local and federal environmental regulations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
