1st Shift: Monday Thursday: 6:30am 3:00pm & Friday: 6:30am Noon

What you will do: As a Cabinet Drafter, you'll play a key role in bringing custom projects to life. Your work will directly support our shop team in accurately manufacturing high-quality cabinetry that exceeds customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop cut sheets and shop papers from approved order documents
• Work directly with shop floor personnel on issues and manufacturing concerns, ensuring continuous production and process improvements
• Work closely with CSR's, product development, and production staff
• Ensure designs meet manufacturing and customer needs
• Effectively utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials to complete projects
• Perform other assigned tasks and requirements as assigned
• Produce workable layouts and 3Ds to our specification in a timely fashion

What you need:

• Basic knowledge of custom woodwork design construction
• Cabinet Vision or other related software experience, is preferred
• Highly skilled in computers and associated software, including Microsoft Office
• Strong math skills and the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, time management and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and handle variables in situations
• Strong technical, analytical, and reasoning skills.

Physical Requirements
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position including, but not be limited to the following:

• Office environment - use of office equipment including computer, telephone, copier/printer.
• Ability to sit at a computer for an extended period.
• Use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk.
• Hearing and vision to normal range
