We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality to lead our enterprise wide quality strategy and drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. Why join us? $150,000 - $200,000 per year depending on Experience Room for Growth Excellent Benefits Bonus Potential 401k Job Details Responsibilities Lead the company's Quality Management System across multiple manufacturing locations and establish the long term vision for quality excellence. Assess quality system effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve processes, product quality, customer satisfaction, and overall performance. Own and oversee ISO certifications and ensure manufacturing sites maintain compliance with applicable quality standards. Lead the global customer complaint process, identify recurring trends and root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop and maintain company wide quality metrics, including cost of quality, and communicate results through executive dashboards and reporting. Partner with senior leadership and plant teams to improve quality systems, manufacturing processes, and product performance. Provide leadership and guidance to quality managers and quality teams across multiple manufacturing locations. Lead internal quality audits and support customer and external certification audits. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Kaizen, root cause analysis, corrective action, and other quality methodologies. Manage supplier quality evaluation processes and partner with sourcing and operations teams to address supplier performance issues. Oversee calibration programs and ensure measurement systems remain effective and compliant. Ensure raw material specifications and quality requirements are properly established, monitored, and maintained. Develop quality training programs and establish competency and certification standards for quality leaders and auditors. Provide direct support to manufacturing sites experiencing significant quality issues, customer concerns, or certification risks. Manage quality system software and related applications to ensure consistent adoption and compliance across the organization. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, Management, or a related discipline required. Master's degree preferred. 15+ years of professional experience within manufacturing operations and/or quality. 8 to 10+ years of quality management and leadership experience. Experience leading quality across multiple manufacturing locations strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, ISO standards, CAPA, internal auditing, document control, process control, supplier quality, and customer quality. Lean manufacturing training with the ability to lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives. Operational Excellence or Black Belt certification is highly preferred. Experience conducting internal quality audits and responding to customer and external audits. Experience within plastics, thermoplastic processing, automotive, or a related manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Strong ERP and manufacturing systems experience. Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem solving skills with the ability to influence plant and executive level leadership. Interested in hearing more?
