This firm is seeking an experienced, strategic, and hands-on financial leader to join their collaborative team in Lutherville, Maryland and play a key role in their continued growth and success.

As a trusted advisor to the Managing Partners, the Director of Finance/Controller will have a seat at the table and a direct impact on the firm's future. This highly visible role combines strategic leadership with operational responsibility, including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and business analysis, while overseeing critical day-to-day financial operations. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy partnering with leadership, and be motivated by the opportunity to help shape the financial strategy of a growing, client-focused organization.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Strategic financial planning and business advisory

Budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling

Multi-entity accounting and financial reporting

Accounts payable and company disbursements

Payroll and commission administration

Cash flow and treasury management

401(k) financial administration and reconciliation

HSA and employee benefits financial administration

Financial controls and process improvement

Lutherville, Maryland Full-Time Primarily Office Based

CPA designation preferred

Must Have

5 or more years in a management role in accounting

Experience with management and working collaboratively across different departments

Ability to work on-site in Timonium, MD
