High Point Residence Fox Valley, a supportive living community dedicated to enriching the lives of older adults, is seeking an experienced and passionate Dietary Director to lead our dining services team.

In this leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a welcoming dining environment. The ideal candidate is an organized, hands-on leader with strong culinary knowledge, excellent team management skills, and a commitment to exceptional resident service.

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, meal service, and sanitation practices
• Supervise, schedule, and support cooks, dietary aides, and dishwashing staff
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to established menus, dietary requirements, and quality standards
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food safety regulations
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
• Assist with menu planning to provide nutritious, appealing, and resident-centered dining options
• Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate dietary team members
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
• Maintain accurate records related to food service operations and regulatory compliance
• Address resident concerns and preferences to enhance overall dining satisfaction
• Participate as a member of the community leadership team

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a commercial kitchen, healthcare, or food service environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen operations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Experience in senior living, assisted living, supportive living, long-term care, or healthcare settings
• Food Safety Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
• Experience with menu planning, budgeting, and inventory management systems
