8-hour shifts - Monday to Friday and weekends as needed
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and fix malfunctions and conduct regular maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
Communicate with parts departments to obtain necessary parts.
Record all work performed and recommended on repair orders.
Road test vehicles to ensure repairs are effective.
Communicate clearly with service advisors and team members
Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
Keep vehicles and shop areas clean.
Manage dealership-owned tools and manuals
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in diesel technology.
Job Requirements:
1+ year experience as a Diesel Technician or Mechanic
Strong knowledge of diesel engines, drivetrains, and truck systems
Ability to diagnose issues using scan tools and diagnostic equipment
Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a busy shop environment
Reliable, team â€' oriented, and committed to high â€' quality workmanship
