Diesel Shop Technician

-Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects. -Diagnose, service and repair hydraulic propulsion systems, control circuits functions and operations to maintain equipment reliability -Examine parts for damage or excessive wear, using micrometers and gauges. -Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles. Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace assemblies/subassemblies using hand tools, jacks, and cranes. -Must possess a working knowledge of levels of diesel emission engines up to Teir4 final for servicing, maintaining and repair. -Must possess the proper tools for performing routine maintenance and repairs to all plant mobile equipment material handling machinery. -Read, understand and utilize operating/maintenance/repair manuals, blueprints, technical drawings and schematics. -Fabrication Experience
