# Holiday Decorator & Christmas Light Installer

$19 $24/hour Up to 30 hours/week Seasonal Hybrid

Light Empires is hiring Holiday Decorators & Christmas Light Installers for the fall and Christmas season. This hybrid role includes hands-on decorating and installation at customer homes throughout the Phoenix metro.

Projects include Halloween and fall dcor, interior and exterior holiday styling, Christmas tree decorating, residential Christmas lighting, material pickup and delivery, and post-season takedowns.

All Light Empires team members are expected to contribute to sales by identifying potential customers, generating leads, promoting company services, and representing the company professionally in the community. We do not require or push door-to-door sales.

What You'll Do

- Design, install, style, and remove Halloween, fall, and Christmas dcor
- Decorate Christmas trees and create polished indoor and outdoor displays
- Install residential Christmas roofline and exterior lighting
- Pick up, load, organize, pack, and return dcor and materials
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Provide excellent customer service
- Complete post-season takedowns and storage preparation
- Follow company safety and installation standards

Requirements

- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Weekend availability and weekday morning availability
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for design
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers and prospective customers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, on ladders, and at elevated heights
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, climb, and perform physical installation work
- Professional appearance and conduct at customer homes
- Flexible availability based on customer demand
- All employees are required to complete a background check. Written authorization for the background check must be provided before starting the position.

Experience in holiday decorating, Christmas lighting, visual merchandising, home staging, event decorating, floral design, landscaping, or installation work is a plus.

Candidates with professional Christmas lighting installation experience may qualify for the upper end of the $19 $24/hour range.
