Bishop & Company is seeking a Customer Service Representative on behalf of a respected Hawaii financial institution. This position is ideal for a customer-focused professional who enjoys helping clients, solving problems, and providing support in a fast-paced service environment.
Pay
  • $16.33-$23.42 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Hours may vary based on business needs
Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative provides support to ATM, debit card, and credit card customers through inbound phone calls and email communications. This role is responsible for assisting customers with account inquiries, card services, and account maintenance while delivering exceptional service and maintaining confidentiality.
Essential Duties
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding ATM, debit card, and credit card accounts via phone and email
  • Research and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Process account maintenance requests, including address updates and account changes
  • Assist with card servicing functions, including blocking and unblocking accounts
  • Support fraud-related activities and help customers resolve account concerns
  • Utilize multiple systems and programs to facilitate customer service requests and card production activities
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum one (1) year of customer service experience required
  • Previous call center experience preferred
  • Banking or financial services experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with standard office equipment
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and use a 10-key by touch
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work independently
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer service
