The role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial management. Day to Day Responsibilities: Oversee cash management, fixed assets, general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll Ensure accurate financial records and maintain accounting policies and internal controls Prepare monthly financial statements and present results to management Maintain and review work-in-progress (WIP) schedules at month-end Develop, monitor, and communicate monthly and annual operating budgets Monitor cash flow, working capital, billing, and collections Complete required federal and state regulatory filings and reports Lead accounting personnel, including hiring, performance evaluations, discipline, and termination decisions Perform additional duties as assigned by senior finance leadership Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of direct experience as a Financial Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field 3+ years of experience with a construction company Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial analysis Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications: CPA certification Master's degree in a related field Viewpoint Vista Interested in hearing more?
